VII EDITION OF ARCOmadrid/BEEP ELECTRONIC ART AWARDS
BEEP, due to its commitment to promoting and developing new media art, sponsors the ARCOmadrid/BEEP New Media Art Award in collaboration with ARCOmadrid, the International Contemporary Art Fair.
The aim of this Award is to promote research, production, and exhibition of art linked to new technologies, or new media art. Its final purpose is to favour the creation of technology-linked artworks, facilitate communication between technology manufacturers/creators and creative artists. A natural collaboration which will benefit and enrich both sides. A maximum of 15,000 euros (taxes included) is earmarked for the Award, and the decision on the winners is made by an international Jury of prestigious specialists.
Artworks may be registered using the form indicated on this form or at the art fair on the 15th February 2012, handing in the registration form to a member of the Award's management team. Registering before the art fair on the Award's website is recommended.
